Storm Fishing

"Storm Fishing"
Canon EOS 3 w/70-200mm f/2.8L
On Saturday, January 22nd a major snowstorm moved into the east. All the major cites got pounded, and Erie got a decent amount of snow as well. Not as much as the Eastern Seaboard, but it really came down for a bit. I decided to drive down to Walnut Creek Access to see what the lake looked like during a major storm. Well, not much. It was snowing so hard you couldn't really see a lot. I didn't stay long. I did notice these fellows ice fishing even in the midst of a heavy snowstorm. I just had to get some shots of this! I thought the guy in front was nuts- he was talking out loud. Turns out he was talking to a pal in the little hut to his right. Even in the depths of winter you can find people fishing in Erie, Pa.
