Lake Erie sunsets can be spectacular, and if you have persistence you will be rewarded. This particular
day was heavy overcast, but as evening rolled around the sky looked as if it might yield a good sunset.
The clouds started breaking just before sunset, and the half hour after sunset was quite spectacular.
