The Lake Erie shore region is an area of natural beauty. From the "Hot Wing" headquarters of Buffalo, NY you pass through the wine making country of western New York to the hidden treasure of Presque Isle State Park in Erie, PA. Here over 2 million visitors a year enjoy plentiful outdoor adventures. Swimming, hiking, bird watching, bike riding- there is something for every outdoor enthusiast to enjoy.

Continuing west you pass through a scenic area of lakeshore that includes several access points on the numerous streams that flow into Lake Erie. Near the Pennsylvania state line with Ohio there is the David M. Roderick overlook, which provides a gorgeous view of the Lake Erie shore from around 100 feet above lake level.
